bankmecu is pleased to announce the launch of our new online savings account opening function.
Existing bankmecu customers can now open an online all of our savings accounts and most Term Deposit accounts.
To apply for and open a savings account online, simply login to Internet Banking and click on the ‘open account’ button from the left hand menu. You can then select the savings account you’d like to open and enter additional information to complete the opening process.
In the coming months, we will be rolling out online account opening to even more of our products.
