Budafest features lectures & discussions; demonstrations, displays & workshops; plant stalls; a Garden Ramble; Garden Sculpture Exhibition; the mecu 100 Kilometre Dinner; a Roses Art Exhibition; and much more. At Buda Historic Home & Garden and other premium venues across Castlemaine.
The theme of Gardeners Growing Communities will be explored through five parallel program strands: Public Gardens & the Greening of Public Spaces; Gardening for Produce & Pleasure; Gardens & Art; Heritage Gardens and Community Gardening. Whatever your gardening interest, BudaFest has plenty to offer.
With over thirty of the very best urban ecologists, horticulturalists and garden designers; TV & radio gardening presenters; gardening journalists & writers; heritage garden authorities; garden artists; community gardeners and many experienced, practical gardeners & permaculturalists, you’ll be learning from the experts.
Entry to the Buda Garden, featuring the Garden Sculpture Exhibition and plant stalls, and to the Roses Art exhibition, is free. Ticket prices for single sessions, weekend and day passes vary.
