Our new BSB number is owned by bankmecu and will provide greater flexibility when introducing new, innovative and cost effective products and services to our customers.
bankmecu is assisting all customers adjust to this change. As a result of introducing our new BSB, bankmecu customers are encouraged to make themselves familiar with the following changes.
- Customers will be required to advise all their current direct credit and debit payment suppliers of the new BSB 313-140 by 1 March 2013. To ensure a smooth transition over to our new BSB number, we have provided direct credit and direct debit advice letters, which can be completed online and printed at your convenience. You can provide the completed letters to your direct debit and credit supplier so they can then update their records with bankmecu’s new BSB number. Visit bankmecu.com.au/newbsb or request a copy at your local bankmecu Service Centre or when next calling 132 888.
- bankmecu’s previous BSB number will remain active until 1 March 2013, so your existing direct debits and credits will continue to work until this date.
- Please remember to use the new BSB: 313-140 when setting up new direct credit or debit payments.
- All new cheque and deposit books will include the new BSB number. Customers with an existing cheque or deposit book will be contacted by bankmecu prior to 30 June 2012 to organise a replacement cheque book.
