Becoming a bankmecu customer takes three easy steps:
- Complete an account application form
- Change your old account debits and credits using our pre-prepared forms
- Send all the forms to us, and bankmecu will take of the rest

To become a customer and owner of bankmecu - all you need to do is complete the bankmecu online account application form.

You can also call us on 132 888 to open an account over the phone.
Alternatively, you can drop into your nearest bankmecu service centre to open your new account.
step 2: let us help you change your old account debits and credits
Simply fill in the relevant forms below with your existing payment information and send directly to the relevant organisations.
To help you with this step, you can ask your current financial institution for an account switching statement, which lists all your regular direct debits and direct credits.
step 3: send us the forms
Once you've completed the required forms, simply send the forms to us and we'll take care of the rest!
You can return your completed forms to your nearest bankmecu service centre or by one of the following methods:
