At bankmecu we aim to provide superior levels of customer value and reward those customers who conduct more of their banking with bankmecu.

Our Transaction Fee Reward program provides more fee free transactions depending on the level of banking you conduct with bankmecu, which is refered to as the "customer support level".

Your customer support level equals your deposits plus loans, less overdrawn savings accounts and over limit overdrafts. Rewards are not calculated for VISA Credit Card accounts. The combined end of month balance of the accounts within an account sets the customer support level for the subsequent month.

For example, Mr Jones' banking with bankmecu equates to a customer support level of $150,000. This means Mr Jones is rewarded with $25 worth of transaction fee rewards per month as long as the customer support level is maintained. If Mr Jones conducts transactions with fees totalling $20, his Transaction Fee Reward covers the whole amount (the remaining $5 does not carry over to the next month). If Mr Jones' fees totalled $30, then he would only have to pay $5 to cover his fees for the month.
